The keyboard on a lap top is very flat, although our fingers are different lengths. The lap top may be convenient for many things, but it certainly was not designed for long periods of typing.

For a person who types a lot per day, a separate keyboard can be attached to your lap top. In this way, you can place the keyboard at the height at which it is comfortable for you, while the screen of the lap top is placed elevated on your desk, preferably at head height. This will make for a much more comfortable typing stand.

So if you need the convenience of a lap top for your traveling work, they are great for this purpose. But for the daily workload, nothing can beat the comfort of desktop pcs.
